FAQs on shipping deadlines
1. How is my shipping deadline calculated?
Your shipping deadline is calculated based on your Days to Ship (DTS). DTS refers to the number of days you have to ship out an order, excluding Sundays and public holidays.
For example:
If a buyer places an order on Friday, you should start counting Day 1 of your DTS from Saturday and ship out the order within the day.
- Day 0: Friday (Order Placed)
- Day 1: Saturday (Shipped Out)
If a buyer places an order on Saturday, Day 1 of your DTS is Monday and the order should be shipped out within that day.
- Day 0: Saturday (Order Placed)
- Sunday (Sundays are excluded)
- Day 1: Monday (Shipped Out)
2. What happens if I ship my order out after the shipping deadline?
Your order will be considered late if you do not ship it out within the shipping deadline.
A high number of late orders will contribute to a higher Late Shipment Rate (LSR), which can lead to incurring Seller Penalty Points.
3. Why was my order automatically cancelled?
Your order may be automatically cancelled for 2 reasons:
- You did not arrange shipment by the shipping deadline.
- You arranged shipment by the shipping deadline, but your parcel was not dropped off or picked up 2 days after the shipping deadline .
